Former Oregon Ducks defensive lineman Treven Ma'ae has committed to the Baylor Bears, announcing his decision on social media Wednesday.

"Big thank you to my fiancée for sticking by my side throughout these many years. I promised you I'd find us a new home," Ma'ae wrote in a social media post. "Baylor WE COMING!"

Ma'ae entered the transfer portal on April 15 and was quick to find a new home ahead of the portal closing at the end of the month.

While in the portal he also landed offers from TCU, West Virginia, Hawaii, BYU and Colorado among others. His move to Waco reunites him with former Oregon safeties coach Matt Powledge, who returned to the Bears to become the new defensive coordinator following the 2022 season.

Ma'ae leaves a loaded defensive line group at Oregon ahead of the 2023 season. Returners Brandon Dorlus, Popo Aumavae and Casey Rogers headline Tony Tuiot's room and the Ducks signed a number of impressive recruits from the high school ranks including Terrance Green, A'mauri Washington, My'Keil Gardner and Tevita Pome'e

The former Duck has one year of college eligibility remaining.
