Following a 59-0 win over Maryland, Penn State stayed put at No. 11 in the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll and No. 12 in the Associated Press Poll.

While the Nittany Lions' demolition of the Terps was certainly impressive, no teams ranked ahead of Penn State in either of last week's polls lost Saturday.

An additional four Big Ten teams are ranked in the AP Poll. Ohio State checked in at No. 4, followed by Wisconsin at No. 8, Iowa at No. 14 and Michigan at No. 19.

The USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll had five Big Ten teams, with Ohio State at No. 5, Wisconsin at No. 9, Iowa at No. 14, Michigan at No. 18 and Michigan State at No. 23.

Alabama replaced Clemson as the top team in both polls after the Tigers narrowly defeated unranked North Carolina on the road.
