Pitt S Brandon Hill Meets with Three Teams at NFL Combine

In this story:
INDIANAPOLIS -- By the time Pitt Panthers safety Brandon Hill stepped to the podium to take some questions from the media assembled at the NFL Combine, he had already taken some meetings with teams from around the league who will look to bolster their secondary in this year's draft.
Hill, the only Pitt defensive back at the NFL Combine this season, has participated primarily in informal meetings with clubs. The Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans were two of those meetings and Hill said playing for DeMarco Davis, the newly-minted head coach of the Texans who holds a strong defensive background, would be a blessing.
“I would love it," Hill said. "I would love the opportunity. I’d love playing for a defensive-minded coach who puts an emphasis on defense but also just blessed for the opportunity.”
Hill added that he had met with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He said the possibility of working with Todd Boles, another defensive-minded head coach, is also exciting. Hill also has a connection with former Buccaneer and Pitt safety Jordan Whitehead, now
“I know Jordan Whitehead used to play for them," Hill said. "I know they’re a great defense and they take pride in their defense so that was also a great conversation.”
Hill was asked if he met with the Pittsburgh Steelers, neighbors to his college team at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, but said he hadn't yet gotten the chance.
“Not yet, but I’m looking forward to it if that opportunity comes.”
