PITTSBURGH -- Jason Pinnock's unemployment didn't last very long. After being cut from the New York Jets yesterday afternoon, the former Pitt Panthers standout was without a job for about 20 hours and, as of this afternoon, has already been picked up by their crosstown rival, the New York Giants.

Pinnock was a productive defender in the Jets' secondary rotation last season. As a rookie, the former fifth-round pick recorded 16 total tackles, forced a pair of fumbles and defended one pass over 12 appearances, two of which were starts. He was in the middle of a transition from his natural position at corner back to safety.
