Pitt Missing Two Backup LBs Against Wake Forest

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will be without a pair of young backup linebackers this week as they travel to take on Wake Forest and start a winning streak for the first time all season.
Freshmen Kyle Louis and Braylan Lovelace did not travel with the Panthers as they made the trip to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to the travel roster the team releases prior to every road game.
Lovelace and Louis are young but have been impressive in reserve action so far this season. Expect more true freshmen - Rasheem Biles and Jordan Bass - to take their snaps as they sit out. Both players have special teams experience but just limited snaps on defense.
After dealing with injuries all through his first season and into spring ball in 2023, Louis has emerged as a crucial piece of the defense this year. He's played in all four games and even earned his first start against North Carolina when Bangally Kamara was out with an injury. He set career highs in tackles and tackles for loss three weeks ago against Virginia Tech.
Lovelace, a true freshman, has played in all six games as well and totaled 17 tackles, one for a loss and a fumble recovery for a touchdown so far.
Pitt's full travel roster for the Wake Forest game is below.
Here is today’s travel schedule. Jake Kradel and Blake Zubovic both made the trip. Nothing is jumping out as far as players who didn’t travel. Let me know if I’m missing something. pic.twitter.com/5ARwpi7qCN
