Elite Four-Star Sophomore Schedules Pitt Visit

Tony Williams, a four-star defensive back and wide receiver, will visit the Pitt Panthers next month.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will welcome one of Florida's best sophomores for a visit next month during one of the most crucial points in the recruiting calendar. 

Tony Williams, a unanimous four-star safety and wide receiver from Palm Beach, Florida, will visit Pitt on June 10 he announced on Twitter. He has already taken a visit to Auburn and he will take a trip to Penn State the day after he is in Pittsburgh. 

During his sophomore season at Palm Beach Central High School, Williams tallied four interceptions, a pick six, 19 tackles, a forced fumble and 11 pass breakups as a safety along with 130 receiving yards and four touchdowns as a wide receiver. 

On3, 247Sports and ESPN all rate Williams as a four-star prospect. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 15 player in Florida, No. 8 safety and No. 83 overall prospect in the class. 

He holds offers from UCF, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Kentucky, USC, Louisville, Purdue and others. Miami and Florida State have shown interest but not extended offers.
