Pitt Offers 2024 QB Trained By Rod Rutherford

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- As a Pitt Panther, Rod Rutherford combined with Larry Fitzgerald to create one of the deadliest wide receiver-quarterback duos in school history. He commanded an offense that scored 30 points per contest and led a team that spent 10 weeks in the top-25. Now, he's helping shape what could be the next generation of Panther signal-callers.
2024 quarterback prospect Trever Jackson, who picked up his first Power Five offer from the Panthers after attending a prospect camp at Pitt this weekend, is one of Rutherford's trainees. The two began to work with one another when Rutherford moved to Jackson's home state of Florida and founded the QB12 Academy, a personal quarterback training service.
