Pitt Commit Ric'Darius Farmer Flips to UCF

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers picked up a pair of recruiting wins this week - landing four-star running back Yasin Willis and three-star quarterback Julian Dugger within a few days of one another.
But Pitt also suffered a major loss this week, as four-star receiver Ric'Darius Farmer announced that he would flip his commitment to UCF, continuing a recent back-and-forth battle between the two programs on the recruiting front.

Farmer was the second player to commit to the Panthers' 2024 recruiting class, declaring his verbal pledge on Christmas Day last year.
Considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN, Farmer is ranked as high as the No. 39 player in Florida and No. 42 wide receiver in the class of 2025 (247Sports). He chose the Knights over offers from West Virginia, Penn State, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Purdue, Minnesota and others.
Pitt now has just one receiver committed to the class of 2024 in three-star Massachusetts native, Cameron Monterio.
