He's visited Liberty, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Maryland, Ohio State and UCF - in addition to Pitt - this past spring as he narrowed his options.
247Sports considers Powell-Wonson the No. 120 wide receiver in the class of 2024 and the No. 27 player in Maryland for this year. Rivals has him two spots higher as the No. 27 prospect in his state. He holds 14 offers in all from all the programs in his top seven, plus North Carolina, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Temple and others. Ohio State, Penn State and Ole Miss have shown interest.
