Gamecocks Make Top 13 For 2025 Athlete Jordan Young

South Carolina's Football program has made the latest cut for talented 2025 athlete Jordan Young.

A star athlete at Monroe High School, Jordan Young has created a buzz in the high school football recruiting world. That buzz has led to a plethora of offers from major college football programs, and the talented young player  narrowed his list of potential college destinations to 13 top-tier teams on Thursday.

The 13 teams that have made the cut were South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Alabama, Miami, Tennessee, Penn State, Southern California, Texas, LSU, Florida State, and North Carolina. These Power 4 programs have all caught the eye of Young, who has undoubtedly proven himself as a standout player on the field.

A versatile athlete, Young has showcased his prowess on both sides of the ball, excelling as a wide receiver and demonstrating his defensive capabilities. In his junior season, Young  tallied an impressive 386 receiving yards on 14 receptions, finding the end zone four times. On the defensive side, he recorded 19 tackles, 16 of which were solo tackles, along with two tackles for loss, one sack, and a crucial fumble recovery.

Wherever he ultimately chooses to continue his football career, one thing is sure: Jordan Young is poised to make an impact in the world of college football, and his future is very bright.
