Zy'marion Lang Sets Official Visit Date With South Carolina
After a busy weekend filled with dozens of recruits visiting the campus and spring practice, South Carolina has already been awarded for the fruits of its labor. South Carolina has already been awarded for the fruits of its labor. One of the visitors this past Saturday, Zy'marion Lang, has set an official visit with the team for June 23rd.
The Palmetto, Florida native is a versatile player; as though he is listed as a wide receiver on most recruiting databases, many believe Lang will transition to defensive back once he joins the college ranks. His versatility extends even further than that, as Lang often plays quarterback for his high school football team in addition to his receiver duties.
Lang is listed as a three-star on 247Sports and On3, though he boasts impressive offers from many high-level programs. With an offer list that includes, but is not limited to, the likes of Miami, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and South Carolina, Lang is a recruit that demands respect.
Lang's official visit comes on the same date as other South Carolina prospects Kelvin Hunter, Peyton Lewis, and Jonathan Paylor, making it a busy day for the team. There is optimism that each of those four recruits could be future Gamecocks, so closing the deal would be significant for an already stacked 2024 class.
