Troy Taylor and his staff are still getting their footing on the recruiting trail, but that hasn't stopped them from attracting talent.

On Tuesday the Cardinal received positive news that they landed a commitment from three-star running back Micah Ford out of Toms River, New Jersey.

Ford held 14 offers from programs such as Maryland, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Rutgers. According to 247Sports he ranks as the No. 835 player in the country, No. 64 running back, and the No. 14 player in New Jersey. He plays both running back and defensive back at the high school level and has expressed a willingness to play either in college.

He marks the third commitment that Taylor and company have landed, as their class ranks as the No. 66 class in the country.
