Conference realignment never sleeps, and even when we thought it was wrapping up it appears that it will have one final push.

After conflicting reports and different statuses when it came to Stanford and Cal, the remaining two of the four Pac-12 programs are reportedly close to joining the ACC. There is also an expectation that SMU will be joining the ACC for free for up to around seven years in order to make things work.

While conference realignment has essentially tossed geography to the wayside, I still wanted to dive into just how far Stanford is from their future (possible) foes. So, let's take a look at how many miles separate Stanford and the ACC members, and how long an estimated flight time would be from San Jose to each location.  Note, for some of the flight estimations, connecting flights are included.
