In this story:

Stanford's month of June was beyond a pleasant surprise on the recruiting trail as the Cardinal saw their recruiting class jump from around No. 60 in the country to the No. 9 class in the country.

Stanford landed 20 commitments from the class of 2024 headlined by four-star quarterback Elijah Brown, and even nabbed a commit from the 2025 class. While Troy Taylor and his staff have put together a great class already, especially when you consider there were doubts about his ability to recruit after he made the jump from FCS to the Power 5, signs are pointing to them not being done.

Stanford received three more crystal ball predictions over the past few days, with all three of the recruits being heavily recruited by other major programs and huge positions of need for the Cardinal. Let's take a look at who Stanford has emerged as the favorite for.

Kahlil House (OL)

Ranking: Three-Star

A recruit with a ton of SEC programs going after him, Stanford has emerged as the favorite for the Georgia native. He's visited programs such as Auburn, Ole miss, UCF, and Cincinnati but received three crystal ball predictions in favor of Stanford. Standing in at nearly 6-foot-5, House adds to a major position of need for the Cardinal who have lost a ton of offensive linemen.

Ziron Brown (OL)

Ranking: Four-Star

Another recruit that if Stanford is able to land they would be prying out of a southern state, as the Mississippi product is in the heart of SEC country. Other programs such as Georgia Tech, Missouri, and Houston have been after him but he, similar to House, have both been projected to end up at Stanford by 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong. The Cardinal continue to be on track to successfully address issues of need.

Benedict Umeh (DL)

Ranking: Four-star

After Penn State was viewed as the favorite to land the No. 82 player in the country, it appears that Stanford has taken that mantle from them following his official visit to Palo Alto. This would add yet another impressive addition to the defensive line group that the Cardinal are bringing in headlined by a pair of four-star EDGEs. Umeh holds nearly 40 offers from programs such as Auburn, Florida, Miami, and Michigan among others. Similar to the other two, Wiltfong entered his prediction which is a very positive sign for Stanford. He would mark their second top-100 recruit and their third within the top-170.
