Stanford legend Tiger Woods makes Masters history on Friday

Tiger Woods continues to make golf history while also somehow managing to stun fans along the way.

On Friday, the 48-year-old Woods made Masters history by making the cut for the 24th consecutive at Augusta, after he finished round two at one over par. Prior to today, he shared the record with two fellow legends, as both Fred Couples and Gary Player were tied with Woods at 23.

It wasn't an easy round either for Woods who thanks to a combination of injuries stemming from his car wreck a couple of years ago, and an illness at the Genesis Invitational hasn't been able to work his way through tournaments like he used to.

After the round, Woods, who was t-No. 21 had a couple of things on his mind, food and something with caffeine, while also having his eyes on the top spot.

"It means I have a chance going into the weekend, I'm here," Woods said. "I have a chance to win the golf tournament. I don't know if they're all going to finish today, but I'm done. I got my two rounds in. Just need some food and some caffeine, and I'll be good to go."

That top spot could be his if things goes his way as he explained to reporters.

"If everything comes together," Woods said. "I think I can get one more."

The Masters is set to continue on Saturday, and tee times will be determined Friday evening after everyone has finished.
