In this story:

Syracuse dominated the last seven minutes of the game and earned a road win at Boston College 77-68. With the victory, the Orange improved to 14-10 (7-6) on the season. Next up is at Florida State on Wednesday. That game tips at 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU. It was Syracuse's 10th straight win over the Eagles, who were fresh off of an upset win over #20 Clemson.

Boston College took a 59-56 lead on a Makai Ashton-Langford with 8:34 left. That forced a timeout from Jim Boeheim and the Orange appeared to be in trouble with the momentum on the Eagles side. Syracuse would respond with a 10-0 run over the next four minutes to take control of the game. Syracuse would make its free throws down the stretch and play solid defense to secure the victory.

Jesse Edwards was a massive problem for Boston College all night, scoring a career high 27 points on 12-15 shooting. He added seven rebounds, four blocks, one steal and two assists. Judah Mintz was superb down the stretch, finding open teammates and making tough shots. He finished with 15 points, five assists and four steals. While he only had five assists, he set up Syracuse players several times for what would have been easy buckets but instead led to Boston College fouls that turned into free throws.

Syracuse would finish 21-24 from the charity stripe for the game, led by a 9-9 effort from Joe Girard. While Girard did not have a great shooting night (6-13 from the floor and 1-6 from three point range), he did finish with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Justin Taylor provided a spark off the bench with nine points including 3-3 from deep.

Overall, Syracuse shot 51% compared to just 41.5% for Boston College.

The Eagles were led by Quinten Post, who had 18 points, five rebounds and four assists.
