Game Log: Texas A&M Plates Eight Runs In Win Over Northern Kentucky

COLLEGE STATION -- New series, new team, same goals. That's the way Jim Schlossnagle likes it.

Texas A&M baseball returns to Blue Bell Park for a three-game series against Northern Kentucky. Since a 14-5 loss to No. 14 Louisville at the Shriner's Children College Classic, the No. 15 Aggies have been on a tear, rattling off four consecutive wins, including a pair of mid-week wins against Incarnate Word and Rice.

Nathan Dettmer takes the mound for the first time since his short outing against the Cardinals, hoping to nab his first win of the regular season. The Aggies will also be without star third baseman Trevor Werner, who left Wednesday's game against Rice with was Schlossnagle described as hamstring tightness. Freshman utility man Kaeden Kent will get the call on the right side and bats sixth.
