Aggies in the NFL: Former A&M running shines for Green Bay's offense

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- They say that Week 3 of the NFL preseason is the most important game. A majority of starter will play more than one drive, teams will have a feel of their rosters and bubble players could make or break their stock.
With 39 former Texas A&M players hoping to continue their NFL playing careers, this week of preseason action might be the most important game moving forward. As rosters begin to diminish, it will be hard to justify a spot if they can't outperform players at their position.
Let's take a look at how several former Aggies played on Thursday night's games.
Cincinnati Bengals PK Randy Bullock - Bullock saw little action against the New York Giants but made the most of his appearance. Going a perfect 2 of 2 on extra-point attempts, the veteran kicker also made a 50-yard field to tie the game at 10 heading into halftime. Bullock has been a member of the Bengals' special teams since 2016.
Note: RB Trayveon Williams did not play after sustaining an undisclosed injury in practice.
Atlanta Falcons OT Jake Matthews: Matthews overall played well with the Falcons first-team offense. He did, however, allow two pressures from the left side towards quarterback Matt Ryan. The former top 10 pick is expected to start at left tackle this season.
Washington Redskins S Deshazor Everett: Everett did not record a tackle and played minimally against the Falcons.
New England Patriots DL Michael Bennett: Bennett might have bounced around the NFL, but expect him to be a factor on New England's defensive line. The veteran defensive tackle collected just one tackle, but it was for a sack for a nine-yard loss against former Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen. Bennett is expected to play a rotational role on New England's defensive line.
Baltimore Ravens LB Otaro Alaka: Undrafted in last April's draft, the former leading tackler for the Aggies has made quite the impression this preseason on Baltimore's defense. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, Alaka finished with three total tackles and played a majority of the second half.
Baltimore Ravens DT Daylon Mack: Mack saw limited action against the Green Bay Packers, but made his presence felt in Philadelphia. The fifth-round selection collected two total tackles and added pressure up the middle against the Eagles' offensive line.
Philadelphia Eagles DE Daeshon Hall: Hall saw limited action against the Ravens, but did add pressure to their backfield. The former third-round pick collected two quarterback hits in the second half.
Green Bay Packers RB Tra Carson: The former Aggies runner could find himself on the final roster in Green Bay following his outing against the Oakland Raiders. Carson led the team in rushing with 32 yards on nine carries and scored a 12-yard touchdown run. He should be in the running for the final running back slot.
Green Bay Packers RB Keith Ford: Fellow A&M running back Keith Ford gave his former teammate a run for his money. He finished the night with 11 yards on six carries, predominately used on third down.
Green Bay Packers DL Kingsley Keke: The former Aggies defensive tackle saw little action against Oakland, primarily playing in the fourth quarter. Keke collected one tackle against the run on Thursday night.
Note: Packers TE Jace Sternberger did not play after not being cleared though concussion protocol.
Jacksonville Jaguars PK Josh Lambo: Much like Bullock, Lambo saw little action. His night didn't turn out the way he hoped, however. While he did go perfect on extra points, Lambo missed a 55-yard field goal wide left with five minutes left in the second quarter.
Jacksonville Jaguars OT Cedric Ogbuehi: Since joining the Jaguars, Ogbuehi has struggled mightily on the offensive line. While playing in three drives, the former first-round pick would leave with a hamstring injury and did not return.
