Texas A&M Men's Basketball vs. Ole Miss: How to Watch, Preview

The Aggies will remain on the road against Ole Miss with hopes of keeping their SEC title hopes alive.

Following their disappointing road loss against Mississippi State, the No. 24 Texas A&M Aggies (21-8, 13-3 SEC) will once again be away from home, set to face the Ole Miss Rebels (11-18, 3-13 SEC) Tuesday night.

The Aggies ran into an unexpected hurdle in their last game against Mississippi State, going nearly 12 minutes in the second half without a made field goal, allowing the Bulldogs to keep the game out of reach. 

One bright spot, however, came once again from free throws, as Texas A&M still managed to put up 20 points from free throws alone.

Mississippi State flexed their top-10 overall ranking in defense Saturday, but the same cannot be said about the Rebels, who enter Tuesday's matchup ranked 147 overall. 

Despite struggling this season against SEC opponents, Ole Miss is coming off of a win against LSU, which marked its first at home since the beginning of conference play.

Key for the Aggies will be starting strong to prevent the Rebels from building on the success they found against LSU, as well as slowing down their main scorer, junior guard Matthew Murrell, who is averaging 14.6 points and 3.6 rebounds on the season.

Texas A&M will be looking to keep its SEC title hopes alive ahead of its season finale against Alabama. In order to continue their quest for that and a higher seed in the NCAA tournament, winning against Ole Miss will be a must.
