Women's Basketball Poll Watching Week 19: South Carolina Finishes Regular Season on Top
The regular season of the women's basketball season concluded last week, and many of the conference tournaments have been taking place the last several days. South Carolina (31-0, 16-0 SEC) finished the regular season undefeated, as they did last year, and are the No. 1 team in both polls heading into the postseason.
In the Big 12, Texas (28-4, 14-4 Big 12) finished ranked the highest. The Longhorns are No. 5 in the AP Top 25 and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll in Week 19. Three other teams are ranked - Baylor, Kansas State, and Oklahoma. Iowa State, Kansas, and West Virginia all received votes in at least one poll this week.
The Texas Longhorns and Kansas State Wildcats are two of the four ranked teams from the Big 12.

- Texas - No. 5 in the AP Top 25 and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll
- Kansas State - No. 16 in both polls
- Oklahoma - No. 17 in the AP Top 25 and No. 20 in the Coaches Poll
- Baylor - No. 19 in the AP Top 25 and No. 18 in the Coaches Poll
- West Virginia - Receiving votes in both polls (#29/#28)
- Iowa State - Receiving votes in both polls (#30/#26)
- Kansas - Receiving votes in the AP Top 25 (#35)
