TCU never got it going on the offensive end as they fell to Oklahoma 69-53 in the Big 12 Quarterfinal. The Frogs made just two shots in the first quarter and fell behind 16-6. The lead grew to 24-8 in the early second quarter. However, TCU crawled their way back into the game after an 18-point quarter to cut the lead to six at halftime.

The Horned Frogs brought it within three after a 10-0 run sparked by Madison Conner and Sedona Prince. It was a 7-0 run followed by Oklahoma that really hurt TCU.

It was an uncharacteristic shooting night for the Frogs. They shot 17-59 (28%) and 8-28 (28%) from deep. Conner led with 19 points, with Prince scoring 14 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

The Big 12 co-player of the year, Skylar Vann, was actually held in check scoring seven points on 3-9 shooting, but it was Sahara Williams who had a big game going for 17 points with eight rebounds. The Sooners had 30 points in the paint to TCU's 14.

For the second consecutive game, the Frogs got zero points off the bench. Agnes Emma-Nnopu and Una Jovanovic each played the entire game.

The loss puts TCU out of the Big 12 tournament. They will have to wait until Selection Sunday on March 17th to hear if they make the March Madness tournament. Should they not make the big tournament, TCU also submitted bids to compete in the WBIT and WNIT.

Oklahoma will play Iowa State in the semifinal on Monday.
