A tough matchup in Austin awaited the TCU Horned Frogs (14-3, 1-3) as they battled for 40 minutes against No. 10 Texas (16-1, 3-1). It was the Longhorns who came out on top, winning 72-60.

The Frogs were once again without Sedona Prince due to a broken finger. They combined for 33 rebounds to Texas' 35. This Longhorns team came in on Wednesday averaging 89 points per game on the season but was held to a season-low shooting percentage of 41%, falling 17 points short of that average.

TCU stayed resilient, and despite trailing by 14 halfway through the third, they brought it within one off a 10-0 run. The closest the Frogs would get in the fourth quarter was 66-60, but the Longhorns pulled away to secure the victory.

Despite 23 turnovers, TCU did not allow a single fast-break point. However, the massive discrepancy was Texas getting to the free throw line a whopping 32 times to TCU's eight. Madison Booker and Taylor Jones were the beneficiaries, each knocking down seven of nine free throws. Booker was the leading scorer with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

It was a great game for Aaliyah Roberson, who finished with 15 points on one missed shot to go with six rebounds and three blocks. Madison Conner reached double figures with 14 points and four assists.

The loss marks three straight for the Horned Frogs, and still without Sedona Prince. She was a massive reason for this team's success with her ability to block shots and run the pick-and-roll. With no timetable for a return, this team will need to figure out quickly how to win without her.

Next up: TCU will travel to Houston to take on the Cougars on Saturday at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
