Cross-Country: South Central Regional Summary

Women’s Cross-Country Finishes Top-10 in Fayetteville, Morris selected to NCAA Championships.

This past weekend, TCU Men and Women’s cross country competed in Fayetteville at the NCAA South Central Regional. The women's team added another top-ten finish to their 2023 season finishing 9th overall, while the men's team narrowly missed a top-ten finish coming in 13th overall.

On the women’s side, Gracie Morris continued her dominance by placing 8th finishing with a time of 20:33.7. Gracie has finished inside the top 10 at the NCAA South Central Regional two years in a row. London Culbreath finished 43rd with a time of 21:50.3, and Tabitha Kalunde Ngao finished right behind her coming in 44th with a time of 21:51.2. The final two finishers for the women's team were Peyton McQuillan with a time of 22:23.6 and Olivia Andrews with a time 22:29.5.

On the men’s cross-country team, Graydon Morris led the way finishing 39th with a time of 31:02.5. Less than half a minute behind him was Stone Burke finishing 58th with a time of 31:31.8. The final three finishers on the men's team was CJ Meyer (31:35.2), Noah Winters (32:10.9), and Finn Riley (32:54.9).

After being selected this past Saturday, Gracie Morris will be participating in the NCAA Cross Country Championships that begin on Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Cross-Country Championships will begin at 8:30 a.m. CT and will be on ESPNU.
