Tennessee has lost several key players to the transfer portal, but Austin Pope decided to remove his name. Pope will be a big piece at tight end for the Vols, if he returns to his previous level following an injury to his back that required surgery. He is a dominant blocker in C-area and his leadership experience is key. He will not likely serve as Tennessee's primary receiving threat at the position, but he should see significant snaps this fall.
