Breaking: Vols LB Quavaris Crouch Has Entered The Transfer Portal

Another highly touted Tennessee player has entered the transfer portal.

A brutal week of news for Tennessee football continues to get even worse. Volunteer sophomore linebacker Quavaris Crouch has entered his name into the transfer portal. Crouch arrived at Tennessee as a four-star prospect from Harding University High (Charlotte, NC).

During his high school career, Crouch was rated as the top overall prospect in the country during his Junior season, where he rushed for over three thousand yards and totaled fourteen sacks in a single season. He suffered an injury that shortened his senior season, but was regarded as one of the elite athletes in the 2019 class.

Crouch played multiple positions during his two seasons at Tennessee, playing defensive end and outside linebacker as a freshman, while specializing as a goal line running back. In his sophomore campaign, he settled into the middle linebacker position where he played in every game this season.
