On January 20th, Quavaris Crouch's name was entered into the transfer portal. Following the hire of the new staff, Crouch was going through workouts with the Vols with intentions of going through spring practice, however, that all did not come to pass. Now, over three months after entering the portal, Crouch will head North to Michigan State.

Crouch started in all 10 games last fall at middle linebacker for Tennessee. He appeared in 24 contests during his time in Knoxville and was considered a major recruiting victory for Jeremy Pruitt's staff in the 2019 class.

Tennessee remains precariously thin at the linebacker position. They are in active pursuit of Juwan Mitchell, a transfer from Texas, to help bolster the position heading into the fall.

Crouch totaled 85 tackles in his career including 3 tackles for loss.
