Just In: Vols TE Enters Transfer Portal

Sean Brown's career never quiet got on track at Tennessee, but it now appears it is coming to a close, as he has entered the transfer portal.
Brown redshirted as a freshman in 2019, and did not play last season for the Vols. He was a recruit Tennessee's previous staff was excited about. Brown was more known for his ability as a blocker, which does not fit what Tennessee will look to do under Josh Heupel and Alex Golesh.
Brown held 16 offers coming out of high school including Auburn and LSU.
Tennessee has emphasized recruiting tight ends in the 2022 cycle, and Brown's departure will leave the Vols with Austin Pope, Jacob Warren, Princeton Fant, and Miles Campbell in the room.
