All-American Linebacker Visiting Tennessee

In this story:
With the spring season in full swing, recruits are flooding through Knoxville. With High School prospects in the off-season, visits are frequently taken by the nation's top prospects. One of those is Parker Meese. Meese is a class of 2025 linebacker out of Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas.
The rising junior recently received offers from programs like Michigan, Michigan State, and Auburn. With the excitement around Josh Heupel's Tennesee program, this is the perfect time to visit Rocky Top and add the Vols to a list of possible homes.
For Meese, in his sophomore 2022 campaign, he recorded 70 tackles, with nearly 9 per game, along with 5.5 tackles for a loss. This effort earned Parker a Second-Team All-American nod from MaxPreps. Being only a Junior this Fall, Meese has plenty of time to decide on recruiting. For the Vols, they hope to make a good impression this weekend.
Meese was recently selected as a preseason All-American for 2023. He is ranked as the 35th-best player in Texas, one of the most notorious talent hotbeds in the country for High School Football. Meese is also the 12th-ranked inside linebacker in his class and a top 250 overall player in the nation. Parker has offers from 6 SEC teams, including the Volunteers, who offered Meese in August of 2022. Others include Ole Miss, the previously mentioned Auburn, and Texas A&M.
For Meese, the visit to Rocky Top and his overall recruiting status is certainly something to keep an eye on. By the time Meese needs to decide on his 2025 graduation, the Tennessee Football program may be a powerhouse. Either way, Rocky Top is a destination for Meese to give a lot of thought to.
