The air is a little different in Knoxville, Tennessee, this week. Losing to Alabama was a big point in this season, especially after their two-score lead to end the first half. The Vols are 5-2 with two conference losses on their record, and their matchup with Kentucky this weekend is big.

Tennessee has two ranked games left on their schedule - hosting Georgia and traveling to Missouri. Those will be two tough games that test the resolve of this team, and they must beat Kentucky before facing those two to have a viable path to winning. They competed well with the Crimson Tide last weekend despite the loss, so they opened as a large favorite.

Most sportsbooks have Tennessee as a 3.5-point favorite, although you can find some carrying 4-point numbers. Kentucky is a strong team with a 5-2 record, so you could bet the money line if you see this being a close game. The Wildcats have already beaten Florida in The Swamp, something the 2022 Vols couldn't do earlier this season. It should be a good one in Lexington, and there are plenty of ways to bet on the action.
