Josh Heupel introduced his five on-field defensive assistants earlier today, as he has now officially completed his first staff of on-field assistants on each side of the football.

Since arriving in Knoxville, Heupel has continued to build a support staff around his program, adding key pieces from around the country and bringing several members from his Central Florida staff with him.

Another UCF staff is set to join the staff in Knoxville, according to a recent social media post from Tyson Kee.

He won all-conference honors at safety as a sophomore (first team), junior and senior (second team both years) and also claimed academic all-conference recognition in 2017 and 2018. Kee was elected the most outstanding defensive back at Southeastern each of his last three seasons while helping the team win a combined 21 games in those three campaigns. He assisted the Fire as a graduate assistant and safeties coach during 2019 spring drills. Kee graduated from Southeastern in December 2018 with a degree in secondary biology.
