Vols DC Derrick Ansley to Join Chargers Staff

We have reported for over a month that Derrick Ansley has looked to make a move back to the NFL, and that will now be the case. Ansley will join the Chargers staff as a defensive backs coach. 

Ansley joined Jeremy Pruitt's staff in 2019 and served as a co-coordinator and defensive under Jeremy Pruitt making 1 million dollars a year.

The Charger new DC Renaldo Hill revealed that Ansley would be joining the staff during a media availability today.

Hill said, "Everybody in that room, not just Staley and myself but Joe Berry to Giff to Derrick Ansley on the back end to Tommy Donatell and to all of those guys, we will collab and come up with the best plans," according to a report from Joe Reedy.
