How To Watch: Tennessee vs. Kentucky

In this story:
After a disappointing stretch of basketball, Tennessee's upset over Alabama felt good. While they are trending upward after an excellent resume win, they must continue their momentum against Kentucky.
The Wildcats beat Tennessee in Thompson Boling-Arena at the beginning of SEC play. Kentucky was in a down stretch entering play, losing to a rebuilding South Carolina team before they faced off against then-No. 5 Tennessee.
The two squads have been through a lot since they last faced off. Kentucky is 7-3 in their last ten games, a step up from their play to start the season. Meanwhile, Tennessee has gone through hot and dry spells.
The Volunteers are still searching for an offensive identity and a go-to scorer. Guard Zakai Zeigler had an excellent showing against Alabama, totaling 15 points and eight assists. While it was an excellent offensive output, Zeigler isn't necessarily a primary scorer. He's fantastic in transition, but in the half-court, Tennessee is still searching for an offensive standout.
Nonetheless, they are America's No. 1 defensive team by many different metrics. Head coach Rick Barnes has instilled a competitive fire in every player on the team, and when someone's name is called, they are ready. Tennessee may need extra contributors against a talented Kentucky team.
