Knecht was one of five finalists for the Wooden Award and earned consensous first-team All-American honors. He averaged 26 points per game in the NCAA Tournament and showcased his range and shot creation throughout Tennessee's four postseason contests. He's projected as a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft and has league executives excited about him in a long-term creation role.
James also shouted out Purdue forward Zach Edey, who amassed 40 points and 16 rebounds in the Boilermakers' win over the Vols. Purdue squares off against North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon for a chance to advance to the national championship.
