Isaiah Gibson Updates Recruitment, Planned Visits
Tennessee has been after several impact 2025 defensive linemen and began dipping their toe into names in the state of Georgia. One name that has caught their eye is four-star edge rusher Isaiah Gibson, one of the top pass rushers in the country.
Gibson ranks as the No. 143 player in the class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He has been getting buzz from many schools and took the time to break his recruitment down with Volunteer Country.
Gibson starts by saying, "It's been really good just taking it day by day at this point." He also confirms, "The schools pushing hard for me as of late are Oregon, Clemson, South Carolina, USC, Florida, FSU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. However, the schools that have really made me feel like a priority have been Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and South Carolina." Following these statements, he broke down each school that made him feel like a priority.
- Oklahoma: "The energy that they give off and the originality that I get from them is what catches my eye."
- Oregon: "From day one, Oregon has made it known that they want me there."
- Tennessee: "They make sure I know I'm a top prospect on their radar."
- South Carolina: "The environment outside of football catches my eye."
He also goes on to say he does have visits planned. "Georgia on the 13th and Florida on the 15th as of now. I would love to get to Oklahoma, but due to basketball, it's limited. Hopefully, I can get up to Tennessee as well." Gibson is a prospect who can go many places and is likely at the top of the list for many schools. Each school listed has its specific strengths in this recruitment, and it's likely far from over when speaking on the Gibson recruitment.
