Kolbe Harmon Discusses Programs Standing Out

In this story:
Tennessee has been after multiple talented targets from the in-state Brentwood Academy Eagles. Many know about the five-star quarterback George MacIntyre; however, the Volunteers are after one of his teammates. 5-11, 180-pound wide-out target Kolbe Harmon is another Tennessee target from the Eagles football program. He recently caught up with Volunteer Country to break down his recruitment.
The talented pass catcher was asked about his recruitment overall as a whole. "It has been great. I love getting together with coaches and learning about their programs and how they plan to utilize me in the future," Harmon states. He also says, "I think mainly Miami, Louisville, Tennessee, and Wisconsin have been making it clear they want me pretty badly. All four of them really have made me feel like a priority, if I'm being honest." He then dove deeper into each team. Take a look.
- Miami: "Their staff calls me on a weekly basis, especially Coach Addae."
- Louisville: "Coach Ellis is great at reaching out and letting me know how I would fit into the program, which gives me a good visual of what I would be doing there."
- Wisconsin: "Very similar to the others. The coaches reach out a lot and check in."
- Tennessee: "Also very similar in the sense that they reach out and really make it seem like home, as a lot of my friends committed there."
Harmon also speaks about his visit plans. He states, "Not all locked in, but I'm for sure visiting Miami on January 27th. I'm trying to get up to Tennessee pretty soon, but I have no plans to visit." Then, when discussing a timetable on commitment or cutting schools, the Brentwood Academy High School athlete states, "I'm thinking more this summer, but at this point, I'm unsure."
As mentioned earlier, the talented wide receiver is teammates with five-star quarterback George MacIntyre. MacIntyre has been predicted to Tennessee by multiple athletes and insiders, and Harmon was asked if MacIntyre did, in fact, commit to Tennessee and if it would play a factor in his recruitment. "Yeah, I consider George one of my closest friends, but I think that I'm looking into it more through where I will get to play quick and where I will fit right, so I don't think George's decision will play into mine." Harmon is at the top of the 2025 Tennessee wideouts list and would be a huge pickup for any team that wants him.
