Marcus Harris Will Attend Tennessee's Junior Day

In this story:
Tennessee has been gaining a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail, and it comes at a strong time. The Vols are set to host numerous elite 2025 prospects for their junior day on the weekend of January 20th, and four-star wide receiver Marcus Harris confirmed that he will attend.
The talented pass catcher ranks as the No. 85 player in the 2025 cycle, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He caught 43 passes for 644 yards and six touchdowns for Mater Dei High School during his junior season. The 5-11.5, 180-pounder hasn't been to Knoxville, Tennessee, yet, so this could be a big opportunity for the coaching staff.

A big wrinkle in this recruitment could be the recent developments with five-star Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre. The Vols and Alabama are fighting for his commitment, and many think MacIntyre could come off the board in the coming weeks. With Alabama head coach Nick Saban retiring earlier in the week, Tennessee has seized a lot of the momentum in this one. If MacIntyre ends up choosing the Vols, it would help their case with several premium pass catchers in the class.
