George MacIntyre Earns Fifth Star

In this story:
Tennessee will only recruit the best of the best at the quarterback position under head coach Josh Heupel. When he decides they are going all-in and signing a top quarterback, they immediately become linked to the top names available.
One common name they have shared interest with is 2025 quarterback George MacIntyre. The Brentwood, Tennessee, native is a multi-sport P5 athlete, dominating the hardwood and the gridiron. He's added twenty offers since January and is quickly becoming one of the top names in high school recruiting.
MacIntyre logged 21 total touchdowns against just four interceptions. He led Brentwood to a 9-3 finish, going 5-0 in the district. His natural downfield arm talent and play-making skills have led several major coaching staffs to extend interest, which is keying in recruiting sites on his talent.
247Sports got ahead of the curve and now has MacIntyre as a five-star prospect. There are now 33 composite five-stars on 247 for the 2025 class, up from 28 composite five-stars in the 2024 class.
The composite has MacIntyre as the No. 30 national player, the No. 3 quarterback, and the No. 2 player in Tennessee. That's a similar spot to where other recruiting services have him; Rivals touts MacIntyre as the No. 45 player in his class and the No. 4 quarterback.

MacIntyre's recruitment seemed local and easy for the Vols, but recent national attention has made this a national battle. Georgia and Alabama are expressing serious interest, and he could make his way to both this spring for visits.
