Following their 12-2 season that saw Texas win the Big 12 and make it to the College Football Playoff, the Texas Longhorns did experience some attrition.

On top of a handful of key players taking their talents to the NFL, they have also had 13 players decide it's time for a fresh start at another college program. Among those that decided to do so is safety Kitan Crawford.

He was just one of the two remaining players that opted to transfer that was yet to find their new home, and on Thursday he took to social media to announce that he finally found his landing spot.

He will be reuniting with former co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Jeff Choate at Nevada, who was recently hired as the head coach.

Crawford came to Texas as a four-star recruit out of Tyler, and was someone that was originally projected to be a running back at the college level. He ended up starting his career at Texas as a corner, before making the switch to safety.

This past season saw Crawford play in all 14 games, and even saw him make two starts against Houston and BYU. He recorded 24 total tackles, one pass deflection, and also nabbed his first interception in the Big 12 title game against Oklahoma State. He also saw significant snaps on special teams.
