Texas football coach Tom Herman confirmed that Collin Johnson is scheduled to play against Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry on Saturday.

Johnson has been out with a pulled hamstring since the LSU game and was officially listed as probable going into this week's practice.

Herman stated on Monday that Johnson was working out and slated to return "barring any setbacks".

Johnson has been at his best against Texas' biggest rival in the past. Last year in two games against the Sooners he caught a combined 14 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown.

In addition to his tremendous skills on the field, Johnson also brings a calming presence to the huddle as one of of the team captains.

"He's a senior," Texas offensive coordinator Tim Beck said. "He's been through a lot of these big ball games and been able to produce."
