Texas football: Watch: Receiver Devin Duvernay named a team captain
The senior is leading the team in most receiving categories through five games

Texas football made a surprise midseason announcement this week, naming senior receiver Devin Duvernay to the team captain list.
Duvernay has 45 catches for 465 yards and four touchdowns. His play has been key to Sam Ehlinger's strong start and means even more considering the Longhorns have been without Collin Johnson (another team captain) with a hamstring injury since the LSU game.
Duvernay's production has exploded since moving from the outside receiver position to the the slot to replace Lil Jordan Humphrey.
Watch below as the team congratulates Duvenay as the newest team captain.
