'Real Deal Holyfield!' RGIII Makes Bold Claim About Longhorns RB Bijan Robinson

With the NFL draft just two days away, Robert Griffin III had plenty of praise for star Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson.

There is not much left to say about Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson that has not already been said or written. When the NFL draft kicks off on Thursday all signs point to Robinson being a first-round pick.

The only question remaining about Robinson at this point is just how high he ends up being drafted, with some mock drafts having him going as high as No. 8 overall to the Atlanta Falcons.

Of course, the value of running backs in the first round is a highly debated subject. However, former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III didn't hesitate with his answer when asked if Robinson is the best player in the draft.

"That's a Snapple cap fact right there!" Griffin said. "Bijan Robinson does everything from the running back position. He can catch the ball out of the backfield, run inside and outside. He had 183 broken tackles the last two years in college football, the next closest guy had 123. Bijan Robinson is the real deal Holyfield."

While it is impossible to know where Robinson lands on the draft boards of different teams, it is hard to deny just how talented of a player he is. He brought home the Doak Walker in his final season at Texas after rushing for 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns to go with 19 receptions for 314 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

To some team Robinson may very well be the top player on their board and thus worthy of their first-round pick. Whoever that team ultimately is, though, will be getting a game-changing player that can provide an instant offensive upgrade from day one.
