Longhorns Land Commitment From 2024 RB Christian Clark: 'This is Home!'

“I have developed a great relationship with Coach Choice, Coach Sark, and the rest of the UT staff," new Texas Longhorns 2024 running back commit Christian Clark said.

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Longhorns are entering their first season without star-studded running back Bijan Robinson, but are now getting another ball-carrier from the state of Arizona.

Texas received a commitment from 2024 Mountain Pointe (Phoenix) running back Christian Clark on Thursday, adding another talent to a 2024 recruiting class that continues to take shape. He made the announcement on social media, saying "This is home."

Clark is a four-star running back, per 247Sports' Composite rankings.

He picked the Longhorns over some elite programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and Oregon. He pointed toward his chemistry with coach Steve Sarkisian and running backs coach Tashard Choice as a major reason for his commitment.

“I have developed a great relationship with Coach Choice, Coach Sark, and the rest of the UT staff," Clark told On3. "Their plan for me is to develop me into the best person I can be off and the on the field. The offense they run will allow me to showcase my versatility with being able to catch the ball out the backfield, slot, and of course run the football."

Clark joins a Texas 2024 recruiting class that is already headlined by the likes of quarterback Trey Owens, receiver Freddie Dubose and cornerback Santana Wilson.
