All four players are considered leaders among the team and will all likely have to play a big role against Washington if Texas wants to pull out the win and punch their ticket to the National Championship next week in Houston.
Of course, this is the case for Ewers, who could have to out-duel Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Last season when these two teams met in the Alamo Bowl, Washington won 27-20 but Ewers (369) finished with more passing yards than Penix (287).

So far this season, Ewers, despite missing two games with injury, has gone 248 of 351 passing for 3,161 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. He's added five rushing touchdowns.
Penix, who finished second in the Heisman voting, has gone 307 of 466 passing for 4,218 yards, 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Both Penix and Sweat had some interesting words for the opposing side leading up to the game.
"I’m not going to lie, their D-line is good. But at the same time, they haven’t played our o-line," Penix said. "They play good ball, but I wouldn't say we're playing the 49ers' D-line or the Eagles' D-line, so we'll be good."
"It's just another O-line to me," Sweat said Thursday. "They're a great group of guys. And they're here to win, just like we're here to win. I mean, like I said, everybody will see Monday at 7:45."
