Texas Longhorns football recruiting: UT lands rising 2020 cornerback

The University of Texas Longhorns got some big recruiting news on Friday evening with the commitment of three-star cornerback Kitan Crawford.

Crawford currently projects as a cornerback, but with a legit 10.6 100-yard dash to his credit last year at the Texas Relays it's obvious he has the speed to play most of the skill positions on the field.

A two-way star, it's obvious watching Crawford's film that he hasn't come anywhere close to approaching his upside and will continue to grow as he develops at just one position in the future.

This could be just the tip of the iceberg for the Longhorns in what should be a huge recruiting weekend. Texas has five-star 2020 players like running backs Bijan Robinson and Zach Evans, cornerback Keele Ringo, five-star receiver Johnny Wilson and a slew of other talented player from the 2020, 21 and 22 classes on campus for a pool party weekend.
