WATCH: Longhorns Basketball Begins Offseason Training as Transfers Arrive

"The mission is to win everyday," Texas Longhorns coach Rodney Terry told the team as they begin offseason training. "Win everyday in your classroom, win everyday on the court."

AUSTIN, Texas  -- Both current and new members of Texas Longhorns men's basketball are all finally getting together for summer training ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

Texas has added four transfers this offseason, all of whom have already arrived to Austin to get acclimated to their new home. These guys and the rest of the team's returners began doing some offseason testing and conditioning on Friday to begin getting their bodies in game shape and testing the results.

Participating were the likes of Tyrese Hunter, Dylan Disu and Brock Cunningham along with transfers Max Abmas, Kadin Shedrick, Chendall Weaver and Ze'Rik Onyema. From  the video, it does not appear that forward Dillon Mitchell has rejoined the team on campus yet after it was announced Wednesday that he'll be returning for his sophomore season.

Take a look:

"The mission is to win everyday," Texas coach Rodney Terry said to his team in the video. "Win everyday in your classroom, win everyday on the court."

Texas is a few more pieces away from having a complete roster for next season. Coming off an appearance in the Elite Eight and a Big 12 Tournament title, the expectations will remain high for Terry and crew based on the new and returning talent he's been able to secure.
