AUSTIN -- The Texas Longhorns will look to pick up just their third home win of Big 12 play on Monday when they host the Kansas State Wildcats at the Moody Center.

Texas (16-9, 5-7 Big 12) is coming off an 82-61 loss to No. 3 Houston on Saturday. The Longhorns have more road wins (three) in conference play than at home (two) but didn't come close to pulling out a fourth victory against the Cougars.

K-State (15-10, 5-7 Big 12) suffered a crushing 75-72 loss to TCU on Saturday. The Wildcats will need to win in Austin to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive and move further off the bubble.

Both teams are coming off of appearances in the Elite Eight last season, but have struggled this year to build on that momentum. The Longhorns suffered their first-ever loss at the Moody Center last season when unranked K-State and former guard Markquis Nowell came into Austin and shocked No. 6 Texas in a 116-103 upset.

This time around, K-State is led by guards Cam Carter (15.5 points) and Tylor Perry (15.2 points) along with Creighton transfer Arthur Kaluma (14.4 points). K-State leads the Big 12 in turnovers committed per game (15.0), meaning the Longhorns could have some opportunities to thrive in transition.
