Longhorns Stay Put in AP Top-25 After Blowout Win vs. Baylor

The Texas Longhorns didn't move in the rankings after dominating the Baylor Bears on the road.

The Texas Longhorns remain unbeaten after opening Big-12 conference play with a dominant 38-6 win on the road versus the unranked Baylor Bears. So, after the Longhorns' win in Waco, where do they rank in the new AP Top-25 poll?

Nine of the Top-10 teams entering Saturday's Week 4 slate of games got through the weekend with wins, and despite the Longhorns being one of them, they didn't move in the newest edition of the rankings as they stayed put at No. 3.

The formerly No. 9 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish were the only team from last week's Top-10 to lose on Saturday as they hosted the Ohio State Buckeyes in South Bend, Indiana. Despite taking the lead late in the fourth quarter, the Irish fell to the Buckeyes on a late scoring drive that saw the Ohio State score on a one-yard run with just seconds remaining.

As for the teams ahead of Texas, the No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs still hold their top spot after a dominant 49-21 win over UAB. The win at home versus UAB followed a come-from-behind win against South Carolina. The Bulldogs were able to bounce back with a strong display against the Dragons.

Additionally, the No. 2 ranked Michigan Wolverines handled Rutgers in a 31-7 win in the first game back on the sidelines for coach Jim Harbaugh after serving a three-game suspension.

The Longhorns will be in action next Saturday, where they'll host the No. 24 ranked Kansas Jayhawks.
