Garbers left the game with an apparent injury, and Dante Moore has come in for the injured quarterback. The Bruins were poised to score, as they marched down the field on Cal. But Moore's first pass would result in an interception.
There is no update on whether Garbers will come back in the game, but UCLA is likely holding out hope that the young signal-caller can return to the game to take the Bruins to their final victory before heading off to the Big Ten conference.
Garbers has been playing some good football lately, as he posted 155 yards and 3 TDs against crosstown rivals, the USC Trojans.
Garbers and company are aiming to end the season with an 8-4 record. Despite losing out on the College Football Championship, the Bruins have had a successful season. The Big Ten conference will bring its own challenges next season, and the team will have to ensure they have a good core team in place to make it even further next season.
