UCLA Women's Basketball: Departing All-Pac-12 Bruin Issues Sweet Statement To Fans, Overwhelmed By Response

The UCLA women's basketball team made it to the Sweet Sixteen this season, the second straight year of doing so. While the year didn't finish in the way that the team would have hoped, it was still a very successful season.

One of their main players, Charisma Osborne, took to social media to express her emotions about the support she received all year. Osborne was a leader for the Bruins this season, but no longer has any college eligibility. She is expected to be selected within the first round of the upcoming WNBA Draft.

This year with the Bruins, Osborne averaged 13.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and four assists over 34 games played. She set the example for this UCLA team all year long and she wanted to bring home the trophy badly for this program.

Osborne struggled from the field in her last two games with the Bruins, likely adding to some of the frustration she felt once the year ended. She was a great addition to the UCLA program and the Bruins faithful will be cheering her on in her next chapter.
