Perhaps the UNC basketball staff is scheduled to host heralded 2025 targets Cameron and Cayden Boozer without any insiders in the media receiving the intel just yet. After all, that appears to be what happened with Kentucky.

John Calipari's Wildcats have welcomed the Christopher Columbus High School (Fla.) five-star twins for an official visit beginning on Friday. And it took until Friday afternoon for anyone to report it.

Credit for that goes to 247Sports' Travis Branham.

He did not disclose his sources. But given the twins' relatively quiet inner circle — that includes their two-time NBA All-Star father in legendary Duke basketball power forward Carlos Boozer — it seems likely the national recruiting expert from Kentucky learned of the visit through his Wildcat sources.

Branham also noted that Cameron Boozer, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound versatile power forward who ranks No. 1 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, and Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound crafty point guard who sits at No. 17 in the class, are slated for an official visit to Florida the first weekend of November.

Thus far, those are the high school juniors' only two reported visits. Again, though, there's no telling if others are in the works.

UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis entered the fray with an offer in mid-May, a few days after Kentucky.

On that note, it's still far too early to count out the Tar Heels. That's not to mention Duke, of course, and another ACC suitor in hometown-hopeful Miami.

Moreover, it's worth noting there's no guarantee the Boozer twins will team up at the college level. Each holds less than a dozen offers, per 247Sports, although one must wonder if that count, like their official visits on tap, is higher than reported.

Neither of them has named finalists or provided a timeline for their decisions.
